How We Can Work Together
Yoga Therapy
Although all yoga is therapeutic and healing, yoga therapy is the professional application of the principles and practices of yoga to promote health and well-being within a therapeutic relationship that includes personalized assessment, goal setting, lifestyle management and yoga practices for individuals or small groups to address an individual’s physical, mental, and emotional needs.
My focus is trauma, specifically childhood trauma and it how it presents in our lives.
Workshops, Lectures & Coaching
I offer a variety of workshops, lectures, and professional development in wellness. Topics include healthy living, health coaching, mindfulness, holistic nutrition, essential oils, cooking and food demos, herbal tinctures and medicine, sound baths and more!
Yoga Classes

Meet Shannon
Born and raised in Virginia, Shannon's curiosity for nature began with wandering the woods and creeks around her childhood hOMe. It was an escape where she found solace and a love for plants among the trees.
Shannon started her meditation practice in college as a means to find peace after a traumatic upbringing. The college library had VCR tapes she checked out to start her asana practice, the physical postures of yoga.
Shannon has held many jobs over the years, but none as important as "wife" and "mother". After dating for 11 years, she married her longtime boyfriend and soon after they had a son. It was at that time that she chose to dive deeper into health as a lifestyle. At age 4, their son experienced a severe vaccine injury that truly opened her eyes to natural healing and medicine. They chose to hOMeschool their son, now 17, and consider it one the best decisions ever for their family. It afforded them more time together, the ability to travel and set their own schedule.
Shannon and her husband, together for 33 years, own and operate several businesses in the area. The oldest turned 27 in 2026! They love spending time between Midlothian and Lake Gaston with their rescued AmStaff in tow. Shannon continues to feed her knowledge in Holistic practices and loves to share that knowledge with her cOMmunity and clients.
